How do I arrange a first appointment?
Request a free phone consultation through my secure SimplePractice page or call me. I will help you confirm your consultation and next step.
Which appointment types can I request online?
The secure request page currently offers Initial Consultation - No Charge (1 hour); Psychotherapy, 60 min; Psychotherapy, 30 min; and Family Psychotherapy without patient present (1 hour). Available dates and visit locations appear in SimplePractice after you choose a service.
What are the fees?
My out-of-pocket fee for an individual session is $250, and group/family session fee is $350 per hour.
Do you take insurance?
I accept Original/PPO Medicare and I can also provide therapy as an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans. Please confirm your benefits directly with your insurance plan for most accurate cost owed/session, deductibles, and number of sessions covered for the calendar year.
What is the cancellation policy?
Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a $150 fee.
Are telehealth and office visits available?
Yes. Telehealth appointments for residents of California and in-person visits at the Carlsbad, California, office are available.
